The First Post

Okay... So this whole first post thing is far too intimidating. So I've decided to just do it and get it over with. I tried to think of something witty and meaningful.... but finally gave that up and gave into just putting up any old thing and leaving the entertainment for later.
So... My current obsession is getting a new computer. My current laptop is in a tragic state... so bad that it's not even allowing me to reformat it anymore (what happened to all those awesomely geeky comp sci majors I used to know in college??). So these blogs are going to be pretty boring until I get that whole new-computer-and-new-digital-camera combo together. But hey. I'm working on it. It's amazing how many things I can talk myself out of with the persuasion of a new computer (I mean... seriously... I was debating the importance of groceries the other day!)
I've finally decided to make the big leap over to a MacBook....

I mean.... Isn't it pretty??? I know that macs are the new trendy thing to buy, but really... I'm just friggin sick of the viruses. I've had 2 HP's now and I'm always battling viruses. So I'm moving on. Sorry PC's. I'm over you (except for Maria's laptop who I will be lovingly mooching for the next month or so.... and my desktop at work... which I might die without... *bloop*.)
