So over Easter weekend I took a trip up to the Valley to visit JoAnn’s to pick up some fabric-related goodies (I still can’t get over that there aren’t quilt shops in LA!) and as I was leaving I noticed that there was a Rite-Aid next door. Since I am the type of person who will do anything possible to avoid going to the Target near my house, I decided to take advantage of this opportunity to pick up some necessities. So after getting enough cotton balls, tooth brushes, shampoo and nail polish remover to last me at least 6 weeks, I head to the checkout line ….. and Pam and Angela from The Office are standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME … or at least the actresses who play them were. Needless to say… I was too star struck to say anything normal to them, like “Oh I love your show, my roommates and I watch it all the time.” Instead, I stared at them creepily and turned bright red when Angela looked at me.
So … this is just a pretty normal star sighting… not super uncommon here in LA… it was just super exciting for me because they happened to be from my favorite tv show.
But THEN …. Last night I was at the gym…. Sweating my butt off (hopefully) on the exercise bike…. And I look over my shoulder and BJ Novak (aka Ryan from The Office) is on one of the machines behind me. This time…. I’m far too sweaty to be excited… and my face was already red… from the sweating.
So after seeing 3 cast members from the show within 2 weeks… I feel like somehow I’ve mistakenly started stalking the members of The Office. Or maybe the universe has flipped and THEY’RE stalking ME….. hm…. Probably not…
I guess I’ll just have to keep my eyes out in case John Krasinski pops up in the next few weeks ;)

Joy, I am soo jeleous that you got to meet 3 of the cast members from The Office!! I love that show!! My closest encounter with someone famous is having a client who lives next to Laurence Welk's nephew, though most people aren't impressed with that because they don't even know who Laurence Welk is. I hope you are having a wonderful day!! Miss you!!

Joy! I miss you! I love YOU and am very happy that I can now stalk you in yet another way! :) I do have to say though that this stalking meathod makes me miss you even more! I can't wait for Vegas!
